Airport Classic Hotel & Travel, Hanoi: A Review of the Hotel & How to Book | Vietnam Purple Travel Guide

Airport Classic Hotel & Travel is a highly rated hotel near Hanoi’s Noi Bai International Airport. Located just a few minutes’ drive from the terminals, the hotel is ideal for travelers with early morning departures, late arrivals, or short layovers in the capital. The hotel has a complimentary airport shuttle, which is available both for pick-up and drop-off, often even at odd hours if you tell the hotel in advance.
Please be advised that this hotel is much simpler than the luxurious hotels, like the CLASSYC Hotel, in Hanoi’s French Quarter.
The hotel itself is clean and well maintained, offering clean, comfortable but sparsely furnished rooms with generous space. Each room is equipped with air-conditioning, a flat-screen smart TV with access to streaming platforms, a minibar, and an electric kettle. The property has good and fast Wi-Fi, and an elevator.
The hotel is run by a local family, the receptionist speaks English, and hotel staff are very friendly and helpful.

While the hotel does not have an extensive on-site restaurant, you can find a couple of casual eateries within walking distance – all are cash-only, one most rarely ever cater to foreign tourists. As the area surrounding the hotel is largely residential, your best bet for dining options are either the city center, or you can take a quick Grab ride to the airport and eat there – the airport has a good selection of restaurants. This is what we did, and it was a good idea.
