Backpack and Snorkel Purple Travel GuideSiloso Beach is the most energetic and vibrant stretch of sand on Sentosa. Located at the western end of the coastline, it serves as the island’s primary hub for outdoor activities, beach sports, and lively dining. While the other beaches offer tranquility or family milestones, Siloso is where you find the ‘pulse’ of the island. It is the destination for thrill-seekers and those who enjoy a bustling, social atmosphere by the sea.
Here at Backpack and Snorkel Travel Guides, we promote self-guided walking tours.
But we realize that not everybody likes to walk by themselves in a foreign city. So, just in case that you rather go with ab guide: NO PROBLEM! Please see the GuruWalk and Viator tours below.

You should visit Siloso Beach if you want to experience the active side of island life. It is the best place to find people playing beach volleyball, trying out water sports, or enjoying a cocktail at a themed beach bar. Because it is located right next to the Beach Station, it is also the most convenient beach to visit if you have limited time before the evening shows or if you want to be close to major thrill-seeking attractions.

If you are looking for a quieter spot on this busy beach, head toward the far western end near Fort Siloso. The crowds tend to gather closer to the Beach Station, so the further you walk away from the monorail, the more space you will find. Also, if you want to watch the sunset, this western tip offers the clearest views on the island.
