Backpack and Snorkel Purple Travel GuideThe Symphony Lake Water Show is a magnificent, free nightly fountain display set directly in front of the illuminated Petronas Twin Towers at KLCC Park. It provides a dazzling, synchronized display of music, light, and water jets, offering a perfect and inexpensive finale to an evening in the KLCC area. Set within a 10,000-square-foot (929-square-meter) man-made lake, the performance transforms the park into an open-air theater where the liquid ‘performers’ dance against the most famous backdrop in Malaysia.
Here at Backpack and Snorkel Travel Guides, we promote self-guided walking tours.
But we realize that not everybody likes to walk by themselves in a foreign city. So, just in case that you rather go with ab guide: NO PROBLEM! Please see the GuruWalk and Viator tours below.

It is one of the premier free nightly entertainment options in Kuala Lumpur. The show offers an unmissable spectacle where the modern, silver architecture of the towers is perfectly complemented by dynamic light and water choreography. For the self-guided traveler, it is the ideal way to decompress after a day of sightseeing, providing a communal atmosphere where locals and tourists gather on the steps to enjoy the cooler evening air.

Note on Timing |
Show times may occasionally be adjusted by a few minutes to accommodate the call to prayer from the nearby As-Syakirin Mosque. |
You should arrive at the Esplanade at least 15 minutes before the full 8:00 PM show to secure a spot at the railing, as it becomes very crowded with photographers. If you have a wide-angle lens, you should stand slightly further back toward the mall entrance; this allows you to capture the entire height of the Petronas Towers, the fountains, and their colorful reflections in a single frame. For a more relaxed experience, you can also view the show from the outdoor terrace of the restaurants on the upper floors of Suria KLCC.
