Day 8: Leaving the Islands and the Journey Home | Malaysia Purple Travel Guide
Today, you will leave the island with the water taxi or the speed boat from your hotel that you have pre-booked.
Afterwards you take a taxi that is waiting at the jetty, or a pre-arranged transfer, e.g. with Seven Seas, back to the Kota Bharu Airport.
Make sure that you have enough time to catch your flight. The Kota Bharu airport is small, and going through security is usually fast.
From Kota Bharu you will fly to Kuala Lumpur, and then fly back home.
For some travelers that means staying in Kuala Lumpur near the airport for one night before catching a morning flight back home.
