Travel Guide for CROSS CREEK COUNTY PARK - Pittsburgh Purple Travel Guide

We tell you why you should visit CROSS CREEK COUNTY PARK in the Pittsburgh area and what you need to know.

This park in Washington County is mostly known for its lake. There are three boat launches. There is also fishing and picnicking, but the park is not known for good hiking.
There is an easy approx. one mile long trail that connects the parking lots from boat launch 1 and 3 which is shown on the park map and, apparently another trail off Route 844, which you can find here.

We enjoyed kayaking here as this is a beautiful lake and we had it almost for ourselves as there were only few people that were picnicking.
