Ferry to New York State (map)
Vermont is a beautiful place, but you likely can’t stay here forever. A good idea to continue your travels is to visit New York’s Adirondacks and Finger Lakes. Instead of spending a lot of time, consider taking the Lake Champlain ferry at the Charlotte, VT Ferry Dock which goes to Essex, NY. You can find it 8 miles south of Shelburne.
